Aiming to explore various groundbreaking formats of future performances, branding of musicians, Null is going to connect musicians and digital media artists, placing focus on the creation and promotion of multiple media with the combination of music, video, light and installation.
Based on music content, Null searches and embraces any possible technology patterns, including synthesizer, images, videos, digitalization, virtualization, interactive art, to convey and evoke profound emotions relevant technologies and their corresponding aesthetic media, to be a new influencer in the field of vision + audio.
The name “Null” is inspired by its meaning in the programming language – non-exist, which expresses an attitude of leaving behind what is known and exploring the unknown.
I had so much fun with this project that I expanded my idea into the entire brand!
Poster Design:
The Launch of Null Space Exploration Program
To better engage the audience, I named this project as "Null Space Exploration Program", which would help them get immersed in a world of psychedelic, experimental rock.
I chose hot pink as the main color of the poster because I think the high-saturated pink, which is often seen in virtual settings, can create a sense of the future.
Inspired by the acid graphic, the central part revolves around the imagination of Null Space. The keywords in this space are disorder and chaos. So I put some cosmos-themed and music-themed elements together and adjusted their properties to look like they are made of other materials. Like the guitar, I removed its original color and added a gradient map of white, black, pink, blue, and purple, a bevel and emboss effect, and a blur filter, so it looks like a neon guitar. As for the astronaut, I adjusted its curves to make it look more like a metal astronaut. The decorating hearts were made through the layer mask and brush tool and looked like floating bubbles. Also, the background grid is distorted.
In this “Null Space”, every seemingly impossible and incompatible element crash into each other.

As the first album of the Null label, it emphasizes what null is, and what kind of music and musician null focuses on.
The Album name Nullthing simply expresses the brand's attitude: we desire to negate all the limitations in the existing world and explore a new space, where sight and hearing are like matter and antimatter as they complement and annihilate each other simultaneously, giving forms to nothingness and giving rise to a flow of tremendous energy.

CD Case Design:
Open your window and
meet the fantasy of NuLL Space
The cover that uses a window frame creates a surrealistic scene where the fantasy of Null Space and realistic elements merge together.
Opening it, The half heart of page two says "Nullthing in Null Space", the other side says "Nullthing can be everything"
The CD case is 6-page brochure while flipping it over, a "Null Space Exploration Guide" comes to you, showing three planets in Null space, each of which represents a chapter in this album.

Book Design:
We've been observing NuLL Space through the space interlayer, and wrote this observation diary for you
Null Space Observation Diary is a photo+lyrics book highlighting the featured artists in this album. I tried to search and find a matching way to show what the artists want to express in their music.
Now, Null invites you to join the fantasy and travel through the past and future exploring love, time, life, and universe, with 15 tracks of music
